‘Great Performances,’ Saturday/early Sunday 1 a.m. and Sunday 12:30 p.m. KVCR: Gustavo Dudamel and the Los Angeles Philharmonic -- The Inaugural Concert. Dudamel’s debut as music director of the Los Angeles Philharmonic at Walt Disney Concert Hall includes Gustav Mahler ‘s Symphony No. 1 and John Adams’ ‘City Noir.’’
‘Chris Botti in Boston, Part II,’ Tuesday 7 p.m. KVCR: A continuation of the trumpeter’s performance with the Boston Pops and conductor Keith Lockhart includes guests Sting, Steven Tyler, Josh Groban, and Yo-Yo Ma.
‘Great Performances,’ Wednesday 9:30 p.m.: Harry Connick Jr. in Concert on Broadway. The Grammy-winner performs a mix of standards, show tunes and jazz classics, backed by a 20-piece swing band and 10-piece string section, at the Neil Simon Theater in New York City.
