Boys’ basketball: No movement in Notre Dame case

A Southern Section spokesman said Monday that Sherman Oaks Notre Dame’s boys’ basketball team is not in the playoffs because the school failed to submit paperwork requesting an at-large berth.

Even though the school claims it faxed the information, Notre Dame never checked to see if the Southern Section received it, and the Southern Section isn’t budging on its requirement that schools have to submit the proper paperwork.
