Local News in Brief : Victim, 22, Dies After Shooting in Pacoima

A man was shot to death Wednesday night in Pacoima in an area frequented by street gangs, police said.
Sergio Rios Rodriguez, 22, of Pacoima was taken by ambulance to Serra Memorial Health Center in Sun Valley, where he was pronounced dead, Los Angeles Police Lt. Bernard Conine said.
Police were called about 6 p.m. to the 10800 block of Lehigh Avenue where they found the victim. The police northeast Valley anti-gang unit was investigating the slaying, but it was not known if the shooting was gang-related, Conine said.
