A veteran Van Nuys patrol officer was arrested on suspicion of child molestation Wednesday at the Van Nuys station, police officials said.
Al Cunningham, 37, was booked by internal affairs officers at Parker Center jail downtown and held in lieu of $500,000 bail, Cmdr. William Booth said.
Cunningham, a 12-year department veteran, was accused of molesting two children “over a period of years,” Booth said. He would not give any other details.
