Bush will appear at the Cinco de Mayo Festival at the Santa Ana Bowl around 4 p.m. Sunday, where he will present awards to cook-off winners.
Also Sunday, Bush will be the guest of honor at a $200-per-person dinner for Rep. Robert K. Dornan (R-Garden Grove) at the Disneyland Hotel. On Monday, he will be the guest of honor at a $100-per-person lunch for Rep. Ron Packard (R-Carlsbad) at the U.S. Grant Hotel in San Diego.
Also Monday, Orange County Republicans are invited to a free continental breakfast at the Irvine Hilton featuring Barbara Bush as the speaker. The Republican Party of Orange County is hosting the breakfast for about 200 Republicans from 8 to 9 a.m. in the Grand Ballroom of the hotel at 17900 Jamboree Road.
The free coffee and doughnuts are intended as a “thank you” to Republican volunteers, said Greg Haskin, Republican Party executive director. He said that no reservations are necessary to attend the event.
