Stockman’s Book on Reagan
We, the people who elected Ronald Reagan are not as stupid as Stockman thinks!
We knew very well that Reagan was no economics expert. We expected that he would hire experts (like Stockman) to guide and advise him on economic policies.
However, what we got was a smart-ass, egocentric, self-styled genius who couldn’t wait to resign (after he had received all the publicity he needed), so that he could write his book and get a big-salaried job on Wall Street. He ridicules not only the President, but most of our Cabinet, some congressmen and senators too.
I can hardly wait for his book on Wall Street, which should be due in a couple of years.
