Florida’s Sen. Hawkins to Recuperate at Home

DURHAM, N.C. — Sen. Paula Hawkins (R-Fla.), hospitalized after undergoing back and neck surgery, will be released from Duke University Medical Center today, an aide said Thursday. Hawkins will fly to her home in Winter Park, Fla., where she is expected to continue recuperating for about three weeks, the aide said.
