Zaccaro Plea Bargain Discussed

MIDDLEBURY, Vt. — A prosecutor met today with a lawyer for John Zaccaro Jr. and later said they discussed a possible plea agreement on drug charges against the son of 1984 Democratic vice presidential candidate Geraldine A. Ferraro.
State’s Atty. John Quinn said he met privately with Zaccaro’s lawyer, Charles Tetzlaff, but several issues needed to be resolved before they could reach a decision. Ferraro and her husband, John Zaccaro Sr., attended a later court hearing.
