Beck Powers Heritage Over Newport Christian

Darrell Beck had a double, a triple and scored three runs Thursday to lead Heritage High School to a 10-5 win over Newport Christian in an Academy League game played in Anaheim’s Glover Stadium.

Joe Alston went 2 for 3 with a double and two RBIs for the Conquistadors (5-6, 6-8). The Patriots are 4-6 and 7-9.
