Eiki International, a privately held Laguna Niguel subsidiary of Eiki Industrial Co. Ltd., a Japanese manufacturer of movie cameras, said it has agreed to acquire Bell & Howell Co.’s American and Canadian audio-visual marketing and distribution operations. Eiki officials declined to disclose details of the purchase, and officials at Skokie, Ill.-based Bell & Howell could not be reached. Bell & Howell’s other operations are not affected by the purchase, Eiki said.
