Work Underway for Senior Citizen Project

Demolition and site preparation have begun in Escondido for Heritage Park, a $5-million senior citizen housing project by Calmark Development Corp. of Santa Monica.
Located on a 5.21-acre site between Bear Valley Parkway and Valley Parkway, the 12-building, 59,800-square-foot project will feature 156 one-bedroom units, 40 two-bedroom units and a 3,543-square-foot recreation room.
K.L. Wessel Construction Co. Inc. of Escondido is contractor and Kermit Dorius of Corona Del Mar is architect.
