Edison to Play Laguna Beach in Playoff

Top-seeded Edison High School will meet five-time champion Laguna Beach in the semifinals of the boys’ CIF Southern Section 4-A volleyball playoffs at 7:30 tonight at Golden West College.
The Chargers (17-1) reached the semifinal round with a sweep of Woodbridge last Saturday. Laguna Beach (13-2) advanced with a 15-8, 13-15, 15-3, 12-15, 15-13 victory over Santa Monica in the quarterfinals.
Dana Hills will play Newport Harbor in the other semifinal match at 7:30 at Laguna Beach High.
