Datapoint’s leveraged buyout was terminated.

The San Antonio-based firm announced that the buyout proposed by Asher B. Edelman, Charles P. Stevenson Jr. and other members of the board and management of Datapoint has been terminated by mutual agreement. Edelman said that “recent improvements in Datapoint’s results and prospects” caused him to terminate the buyout proposal.
