Volkswagen AG said its 1985 group net profit more than doubled from the previous year. The group’s export sales continued to lead overall sales growth with a 17.1% gain while sales in West Germany rose 10.5%, the company said. Net profit of the parent company more than doubled on a 15.2% increase in revenue.
