About 100,000 households in the northern and western areas of San Diego will soon receive notice that their trash will be collected on a different day, the city has announced.
Because of population increases in those areas of the city, it will be necessary to change collection routes. Notices of the change will be left at the front doors of homes and businesses affected by the changes, which are to take place next week.
The city collects trash one day a week in each neighborhood and in all cases it must be left out ready for collection by 7 a.m. For more information call 236-5660.
