HOUSTON — The Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, recently opened its new Lillie and Hugh Roy Cullen Sculpture Garden, designed by the American artist Isamu Noguchi.
The garden is described as “a work of art in its own right.” It is the first Noguchi has created in the United States for the work of other artists, and it provides the museum with a setting for the display of modern sculptures by such artists as Rodin, Matisse, Maillol, David Smith and Mark di Suvero.
