UCI Signs Ranked Tennis Player From Florida

Trevor Kronemann, a top high school tennis player from Florida, has signed a letter of intent to attend UC Irvine, the school announced Tuesday.
Kronemann, a 6-foot 3-inch, 225-pounder from Manatee High School in Bradenton, Fla., won the 1985 Florida Class 4-A state singles title and was ranked 28th in the 1985 national 18-and-under rankings.
Kronemann had narrowed his choices to Clemson, Tennessee and UCI before signing with the Anteaters.
