Two Runners Sign to Join UCI Track Teams

Greg Houlgate, a top distance runner from El Camino College, and Amy Dabul, a standout runner from Temple City High School, have signed letters of intent to attend UC Irvine next season, the school announced Tuesday.
Houlgate competed in track and cross-country at El Camino in Torrance. He finished 10th in the Community College State Championships last fall and has run the 5,000 meters in 14 minutes, 50 seconds.
Dabul has run 4:51.8 in the 1,600 meters this season to rank fifth nationally and third in California.
