CASTING ALMOST COMPLETE FOR KIROV AT SHRINE

Casting has been announced for all but one of the performances by the Kirov Ballet at Shrine Auditorium May 21-26, sponsored by the Ambassador Foundation.
In “Swan Lake,” Odette/Odile and Prince Siegfried will be danced by Galina Mezentseva and Konstantin Zaklinsky (May 21); Olga Tcheytchikova and Marat Daukayev (May 22); Lyubov Kunakova and Evgeny Neff (May 23) and Tatyana Terekhova and Sergey Berezhnoy (May 24). At all performances, Elidar Aliev will appear as Rothbart.
Principal roles have been announced for only one of the two mixed-bill programs. On May 25, “Chopiniana” (“Les Sylphides”) will be danced by Irina Kolpakova, Irina Sitnikova, Olga Likhovskaya and Berezhnoy; principals in “Paquita” will include Tcheytchikova, Kunakova and Daukayev; “La Bayadere” will be danced by Altinay Asylmuratova and Zaklinsky.
No casting is yet available for the final performance of the mixed bill on May 26.
