Reacting to Sugar Ray Leonard’s surprise challenge, middleweight boxing champion Marvelous Marvin Hagler’s manager said the wheels are in motion for a title fight with Leonard.

“There are some complications, but nothing that can’t be worked out,” Hagler’s manager, Pat Petronelli, told the Washington Post.

Hagler was expected to fight a rematch with Thomas Hearns in November, and the two camps were close to an agreement before Leonard announced last week that he would come out of a two-year retirement to fight Hagler.
