Hampton Edges Chapman in Tennis

Kirt Baylor and Datus Murray defeated Brad Parker and Bis Houssels, 7-6, 6-3, in the No. 3 doubles match to give Hampton College (25-4) a 5-4 win over Chapman College (20-12) Friday afternoon in men’s nonconference tennis action at Orange.
Panther freshman Olivier Amerlinck defeated Greg Williams, 6-4, 6-4, for his 30th win of the season, which is a Chapman record. He surpassed the record of 29 set last season by John Kline, who is a senior this year.
