Edison Meets Dana Hills in Volleyball

Tonight is prom night at Edison High School, but members of the Charger volleyball team will have more on their minds than tuxedos and corsages.

Edison will meet Dana Hills for the CIF Southern Section 4-A championship tonight at 8 at Marina High School. The Chargers are making their first-ever appearence in the championship match. Dana Hills lost to Corona del Mar, 3-1, in last year’s 4-A final. Dana Hills (14-1) beat top-seeded Edison (18-1) in the finals of the Orange County tournament earlier this season.

Loyola (17-2) plays Brentwood (11-8) in an all-Central League matchup in the 3-A final, which begins at 6 p.m.
