Motorcycle Rider Killed: A motorcycle rider was fatally injured early Saturday when his motorcycle collided with a pickup truck at the intersection of Del Obispo and Los Rios streets, the county Sheriff’s Department reported. Sheriff’s Lt. Harold Schaffroth said Mark Alan Williams, 23, of South Laguna died at the scene, shortly after the 12:40 a.m. accident. The truck driver was not injured or cited, but the accident remains under investigation, Schaffroth said.
