When “Amazing Stories” and “Alfred Hitchcock Presents” were first announced, I looked forward to their premieres. To my shock the stories were stupid and devoid of any intelligence. Now these shows are still running and “The Twilight Zone” has been taken off. At least the latter had intelligence, but as for the NBC shows, I’ve seen third-grade compositions with more thought and plot.
