Hikers and campers at Orange County’s Caspers Wilderness Park near San Juan Capistrano have been warned to be on the watch for mountain lions after one was seen prowling in the area over the weekend. The animal was spotted near the Live Oak Campground by a visitor who immediately notified park rangers. On March 23, a mountain lion attacked and seriously injured a 5-year-old El Toro girl hiking with her parents in the 7,500-acre park. That animal was killed a day later.
