ReadiCare Inc., a Newport Beach-based developer and operator of outpatient centers specializing in occupational and industrial medicine, said it has been awarded a contract to provide corporate medical management services for Harrah’s Hotel and Casino in Lake Tahoe, Nev.
Under the agreement, RadiCare will develop, staff and manage an in-house medical facility at Harrah’s and provide a link with local hospitals, medical specialists and other health care providers.
ReadiCare said that the in-house medical facility is primarily designed to reduce medical compensation costs for Harrah’s 4,000 workers. The facility is expected to open in early June and will offer occupational medical services on a 24-hour-per-day, seven-day-per-week basis.
