Huntington Beach Volleyball Team Gains Semifinals

SBE/Construction won two matches Wednesday to advance to the semifinals of the United States Volleyball Assn. national championships in Wichita, Kan.
The Huntington Beach team beat Armed Forces, 15-7, 15-6, and George Mason University, 15-7, 11-14, 15-3. Rocky Ciarelli had 56 assists in the two games, and Bob Ctvrtlik had 35 kills.
SBE/Construction will play Norseleet in the semifinals today. The finals will be played Saturday.
