43RD ASSEMBLY DISTRICT

To help voters make a decision on June 3, The Times asked candidates how they stand on the following issues. Republican Lou Steeg, a follower of Lyndon LaRouche, declined to answer the questions. Because Peace and Freedom candidate John Honigsfeld is running unopposed for his party’s nomination, he was not included. Incumbent Gray Davis (D-Los Angeles) is vacating the seat to run for state controller.
