MOVING RIGHT ALONG: This Saturday at 8 p.m., the “Cool and Crazy” radio show (on KCRW-FM) will host a two-hour Beatles special--but with a twist. The tribute will only feature rare records, interview and commercials either about the Beatles or by Beatles imitators--but not a note of actual Beatles recordings. Artists featured will include Fats Domino (doing “Lady Madonna”), Little Richard and Milton Berle (crooning “Yellow Submarine”), plus Al Hall, a self-proclaimed “world’s most famous Beatles imitator” who will debut several new songs. . . . Local country fans can hear the Lonesome Strangers live in the studio today at 9 a.m. on Rene Engel’s “Citybilly” program, also on KCRW. . . . Debora Iyall (formerly of Romeo Void) will be giving a poetry reading Friday at midnight at the Lhasa Club, following Diane Spiwak and Miss Velma. . . . And Bonnie Raitt, Michael Ruff and several celebrity guests will perform Thursday at At My Place as part of a benefit for the Savadoran sanctuary movement, hosted by actor Mike Farrell. Information: (213) 464-3210.
