French Plane Crashes in Djibouti; 20 Die

DJIBOUTI — All 20 people aboard a French navy plane were killed Sunday when it crashed in heavy rain in this tiny nation on the Red Sea, military officials said.
The Breguet Atlantic turboprop, which is used for maritime reconnaissance, came down as it was flying over the 5,500-foot Montagne du Day, about 25 miles north of the city of Djibouti, a former French colony between Ethiopia and Somalia.
