This one, directed by Mark Robson, is dull, ponderous going, interesting mostly as young Kim Hunter’s debut film. She goes to New York to find her missing sister (Jean Brooks), who has fallen among devil worshipers. Tom Conway and a pre-”Leave It to Beaver” Hugh Beaumont are the principal males. But characters, relationships and events are exasperatingly vague without being mysterious. 1/2
