Santana Keeps Top Spot in Baseball Poll

SAN DIEGO — Santana High retained the top spot in this week’s Times Top 10 with three victories this week. The Sultans, the San Diego Section 3-A champions in 1984, are 22-2.
Mount Carmel (21-4) remains No. 2. Valhalla, which lost to Santana last week, is No. 3 this week.
Mission Bay, the top-ranked 2-A team, is No. 4 with a 19-5 record.
