Cal State Northridge is 10th after the first 18 holes of the NCAA Division II golf championship at the Innisbrook Resort in Tarpon Springs, Fla., 18 strokes behind leading Florida Southern University.
Florida Southern shot 296 in the first round of the 72-hole tournament and leads the second-place University of Tampa by seven strokes. Cal State Northridge shot 314.
