School Art Official Honored

Joan Allemand, art and music coordinator for the Beverly Hills Unified School District, has received state and national awards for service to art education. Allemand won the 1986 National Art Education Assn. award as outstanding art supervisor and administrator for the Pacific Region. She also was elected the outstanding art supervisor and administrator in the state by the California Art Education Assn.
