A stronger Japanese yen could increase Tiger International’s revenue by $24 million through the end of 1986, Robert P. Jensen, chairman and chief executive, told the annual meeting . . . Cray Research said it will hire 1,000 workers this year, increasing its work force by 30% . . . Caterpillar Tractor has shortened its name to Caterpillar Inc. . . . Winn Enterprises sold its Hoagy’s Corner convenience store chain to Southland Corp. . . . Businessland was granted a temporary restraining order that prohibits PacTel InfoSystems from recruiting Businessland employees or using its proprietary information . . . Tektronix will cut its work force by about 20%, or 2,000 employees, and company officers will take a 10% salary cut . . . Wang Laboratories said it will acquire the remaining 80% of Intecom, a switching systems company, that it doesn’t already own.
