Woman Sues, Says She Was Knifed in Hospital

A woman who was admitted to County-USC Medical Center for stab wounds filed suit against the hospital Thursday, claiming that security was so negligent that her attacker stabbed her again--in the hospital.
Jo Ann Crayton said in her Superior Court suit that she was treated on Nov. 22, 1985, and put in a ward to rest. She claims her unidentified attacker obtained a hospital worker’s garment, found her, and stabbed her several more times.
County attorneys could not be reached Thursday for comment.
