Ailing Rep. Grotberg Drops Reelection Bid

WASHINGTON — Rep. John E. Grotberg (R-Ill.), so weak as the result of a coma he suffered earlier this year that he needs help to sign his name, is ending his bid for a second term, an aide said Thursday.
