NCAA Softball : Fullerton a Win Away From Title

OMAHA, Neb. — Michelle Gromacki tripled to lead off the eighth inning as Cal State Fullerton defeated Indiana, 3-1, Saturday night and advanced to the finals of the College Softball World Series.
Earlier Saturday, Fullerton defeated Texas A&M;, 3-0, as Connie Clark pitched a no-hitter. Clark struck out seven and walked one on her way to becoming the sixth player to pitch a no-hitter in the World Series.
Fullerton (59-9-1) meets Texas A&M; again today for the championship. The Titans, undefeated in the tournament, can win the title with a victory. For Texas A&M; to win, it would have to beat Fullerton twice.
