San Diego County Supervisor Susan Golding and City Councilwoman Abbe Wolfsheimer will receive the Col. Irving Salomon Human Relations Award Tuesday from the American Jewish Committee.
Wolfsheimer is the daughter of the late Colonel Salomon.
The award, which honors the two as “Women of Accomplishment,” will be presented at the San Diego chapter’s annual meeting at the Sheraton Harbor Island East hotel.
San Diego City Manager Sylvester Murray will address the gathering on “Effective City Government.”
The American Jewish Committee, founded in 1906, protects the civil and religious rights of Jews here and abroad, and advances the cause of improved human relations for all people.
