Trager Resigns as Laguna Beach Coach

Tom Trager, who coached baseball this past season at Laguna Beach High School after 15 years as the Corona del Mar coach, has resigned.

Trager said that he took the job as Artists’ coach so that he could be with his son, Tommy, who was a second-team, All-South Coast League senior catcher for Laguna Beach this season.

Trager hopes to coach next year under current Sea King baseball Coach Jerry Jelnick. He also is interested in coaching tennis at Corona del Mar.
