Westinghouse Electric Develops Bomb Detector

PITTSBURGH — Westinghouse Electric Corp. has developed an explosives detection device that can curb attacks at airports, embassies and other terrorist targets, the company said.
A “thermal neutron activation” device, developed in suburban Churchill, is being tested at four unidentified airports in the United States, according to Sen Arlen Specter (R-Pa.).
