COMMENCEMENT 1986 : Orange Coast College

Orange Coast College held its 38th annual commencement ceremony Wednesday evening in LeBard Stadium on campus, with a reception on the field immediately afterward.
Degrees: 1,276 associate in arts were awarded, with 230 graduates participating in the ceremony.
Speaker: Judy Burns, television scriptwriter and member of the Alumni Hall of Fame, addressed the graduates this year.
Honorary Degrees: Wendell Pickens, retired instructor, coach and dean of the physical education division, was awarded the Outstanding Citizenship Award.
Other Graduations: Coastline Community College, with 371 associate in arts degrees and vocational certificates of completion awarded.
