Saugus’ Ane Qualifies for State Discus Event

Lance Ane of Saugus High qualified for the state championship in the discus throw with a fourth-place finish at Valencia High in Orange on Wednesday.
Ane, who has a personal best of 173-1, threw 164-8 in a special qualifying meet.
