Myron Roth has been named president of MCA Records. Roth was previously executive vice president of MCA’s records and music group, which recently was restructured and renamed MCA Music Entertainment Group, headed by Irving Azoff, vice president of Universal City-based MCA Inc. In his new position, Roth will take over some of the former duties of Azoff, who remains chief executive of MCA Records.
