The Weingart Foundation has increased its gift to the capital campaign of the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County from $1 million to $3 million, foundation chairman Harry J. Volk announced. The Weingart donation will go toward construction of a $10-million, 40,000-square-foot Pavilion of Evolving Life.
