ICL Medical System Finds a Japanese Distributor

Hycor Biomedical Inc. of Fountain Valley said its ICL Scientific subsidiary and Miles-Sankyo Co. Ltd., the Japanese unit of Miles Laboratories, reached an agreement for Miles-Sankyo to be the exclusive distributor of ICL’s urinalysis system in Japan and Korea. Distribution will begin in October.
Richard D. Hamill, president and chief executive of Hycor, said the company expects sales of its product in Japan and Korea to exceed $1 million by 1989.
