Two people were injured in an accident Wednesday that also claimed the life of Eduardo Nava, 32, a San Diego man.
A previous Times report about the 6 a.m. accident at California 94 east of Campo Road said Nava was the only victim. Donna Rowden, 39, of La Mesa was listed in fair condition Thursday at Sharp Memorial Hospital, and Emmanuel Cien, 24, of Spring Valley was treated at Grossmont Hospital.
Nava was pronounced dead at Grossmont Hospital. He was driving a car that crossed a dirt center divider on California 94 and hit cars driven by Rowden and Cien. The accident was handled by the California Highway Patrol, not by the El Cajon Police Department, as was previously reported.
