Del Mar : Hasty Pasty Tops Debutante Field

DEL MAR — A field of five, headed by Hasty Pasty, was entered Friday in Sunday’s $125,000-added Del Mar Debutante at Del Mar. Hasty Pasty will be ridden by Bill Shoemaker and carry 117 pounds.

Lost Kitty, with Gary Stevens aboard and carrying 117 pounds, and Royal Weekend, with Eddie Delahoussaye up and carrying 113 pounds, will race as an entry for trainer Wayne Lukas. Acurare, with Russell Baze, and British Moon, with Alex Solis, will both carry 113 pounds.

Exclusive Partner, to be ridden by Pat Day, tops an 11-horse field in today’s $50,000-added Escondido Handicap, 1 1/16 miles on the turf.

Toulange, ridden by Delahoussaye won by 3 1/2 lengths over Irish Lord’s Miss Friday in the $35,700 Fleet Treat Stakes. Toulange raced seven furlongs in 1:22 3/5 and paid $6.60, $3.40 and $2.60.
