Experts plan to examine the medical histories of four New York Giant players stricken with cancer over the last 7 1/2 years as they begin their environmental safety study of the Meadowlands sports complex.
“My mind is open going into this study,” said Dr. Philip Landrigan, who has been selected by the operators of the Meadowlands to chair the three-man panel assessing the health risks associated with the northern New Jersey sports complex. “Obviously, this can be two things. One is a statistical fluke or the other is something real is going on here.”
