McDaniels Signs With Northridge

Kendell McDaniels, an All-City basketball player from Chatsworth High, has accepted a scholarship to play at Cal State Northridge, the school announced Friday.

McDaniels, a 6-5, 200-pound forward, averaged 16 points and 8.7 rebounds for the Chancellors last season. He signed an early Division I letter of intent with St. Mary’s, but was notified last month that he did not meet entrance requirements, CSUN Coach Pete Cassidy said.
